Full Case Study

This case study focuses on redesigning the CRED app to solve key user experience issues identified through real user feedback and testing. The goal was to maintain CRED’s premium and minimal aesthetic while improving core usability—especially in the rewards and navigation experience.

I began by conducting surveys and crowdsourced feedback, which revealed that users found the app visually appealing but often confusing to navigate—particularly the rewards section. I categorized feedback using a Difficulty vs. Importance matrix and prioritized actionable design tasks.

Using this research, I created low and high-fidelity wireframes, and tested them with both existing CRED users and first-time users. Key success metrics included task success rate, time on task, and search vs. navigation behavior. Based on the insights, I redesigned the homepage, simplified the rewards flow, and improved search and feedback systems.

The result is a cleaner, more intuitive app experience that reduces cognitive load, enhances engagement, and preserves the brand’s high-end feel—while making the app more accessible and usable for all types of users
